Description

The  International Film Festival on Human Rights, organized by  the Instituto Multimedia DerHumALC , has opened its call for entries for the 14th edition to be held May 23-30, 2012 in Buenos Aires and September 2012 in Santiago del Estero, Argentina.

The festival accepts long feature, short and medium length, narrative , documentary films, essay, animation, experimental or videoclip for a variety of non-competitive sections, like Memory, Gender Views, Chldhood and Youth, Migrants, Panorama, Environment and Native Cultures, and three competitive sections, International Long Films, Short and Medium Films Competition, Argentinian Documentary Competition.

Official submissions deadline is December 20th, 2011. The thematic focus of this edition will be Identity.

The  International Film Festival on Human Rights is one of the most important event on Cinema and HR, is founder member of Human Rights Film Festival Network and Red de Cine Social y Derechos Humanos de América Latina y el Caribe, promoting  the human rights’ issues in the world through the cinema.
