Description

The International Film Festival Human Rights “The Seventh Eye is Yours” (FESTIMO) is organized by PUKAÑAWI, which means red eye in the Quecha language. This organization was founded as the center of cultural management in 2004 and has been organizing the festival ever since.

After six editions of Festimad, the festival is dedicated together with PUKAÑAWI Cineteca Human Rights to the circumstances of indigenous people in the city of Sucre, the capital of Bolivia where the judiciary is established. Festimad seeks to strengthen a culture of peace, human rights, democracy and development through the screening of films and the production of intercultural dialogue. Festimad devotes special attention to the movies on Migration "NO HUMAN BEING IS ILLEGAL." The official program will feature 70 films from 25 countries, a photo exhibition, film workshops, conferences and presentations, theater, music and books in different cultural centers of the city.
