Description

The Human Rights Arts and Film Festival (HRAFF) is Australia’s premier cultural event devoted exclusively to the exploration of human rights issues through art and film. At the heart of HRAFF’s mission is awareness raising, both of the relevance of human rights discourse to everyday life in Australia and of human rights challenges facing communities around the world. It is a vibrant and multifaceted array of film, art, music, performances, speakers, poetry and community initiatives. Its patrons include Margaret Pomeranz, the Hon. Michael Kirby AC CMG, Warwick Thornton, Isabel Lucas and Geoffrey Robertson QC.
