Five human rights film festivals join the HRFN

The Human Rights Film Network is delighted to welcome five new members to the network as of 2024. Human rights film festivals from Colombia, Kenya, USA, Spain and Tunisia were accepted to the network during the annual meeting in November 2023. 

The new HRFN members are:

• Festival Internacional de Cine por los Derechos Humanos – Colombia (Colombia)
• Under our Skin International Film Festival on Human Rights & Culture (Kenya)
• Syracuse University Human Rights Film Festival (United States)
• International Social Film Festival of Catalonia (Spain)
• Human Screen Festival (Tunisia)

These new festivals bring the total number of network members to 54 human rights film festivals. We are greatly looking forward to cooperate with these festivals and share knowledge and experiences amongst each other.
